Through the snow to the peak

"Through the snow to the peak" is a video exhibition with an average altitude of 5,000 meters above sea level. The altitude of Mount Qomolangma Base Camp is 5,000 meters, which is 2,000 meters above the average snow line. In this challenging environment, water boils at only 80 degrees Celsius, and the oxygen content in the air is merely 50% of what is considered normal. That is the setting where photographer ROCKER Wang carries out his projects year-round. Living and climbing with heavy equipment alongside elite climbers in this snow-covered environment where the average individual may find it challenging to navigate, he masterfully documents the powerful stories of people and ice.
