vivo VISION+ Exhibition: From the Heart, One More Plus

Since its inception, photography has continuously shaped the way we perceive the world, evolving from the thoughtful compositions of the film era to the convenience and freedom of the mobile imaging era, with each photograph carrying its own emotional resonance and narrative. Technological advancement has catalyzed profound changes in photography, expanding creative boundaries and enabling more diverse forms of artistic expression while revolutionizing photographic aesthetics. With the advent of the mobile imaging era, rapid dissemination of diverse aesthetic styles has enabled us to capture life's moments spontaneously, transforming ordinary instances into precious memories through these light yet authentic images.

Today, through our mobile phones, we engage our bodies and senses to convey our perception of self and the world around us. vivo's mobile imaging technology not only captures what the eye sees but transcends it, encouraging users to perceive the world with their hearts and discover the vibrant moments in life. Whether it's layered mountain ranges, stars twinkling in the night sky, or friends journeying together, photography serves as a bridge connecting individuals with the external world. Each time we press the shutter, the image becomes a medium for dialogue between heart and world, eternally preserving fleeting moments in the river of time.

The heart serves as the negative for our images, containing the depth and warmth of life, with each photograph acting as an emotional seal. This exhibition, through five sections - “Innovation”, “Vision”, “Eternity”, “Suddenness”, and “Emotion” - approaches photography from the perspective of heart, integrating diverse cultures and regional life scenes to showcase the infinite possibilities of mobile imaging. At this moment, during the Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival, vivo cordially invites creators worldwide to participate in the 2025 vivo VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards, encouraging them to observe and experience life with their hearts, freely unleashing their imagination and creative passion. Starting from the heart, pick up your phone, and capture one more moment.
