The sand dunes seem has no end. The unrelated characters scatter across the dunes, as if they are performing a theatre of the absurd or a ceremony. These are not the masterpieces of René Magritte or the stage photo of neither Michelangelo Antonioni nor Samuel Beckett. These are the works of Shoji Ueda. These images are very un-japanese.
